Laos land law does not authorise foreigners to acquire land on the territory of the Republic of Laos apart from companies duly registered with the official authorities. Inthado, which has been registered since April 2005, is authorised to own land and develop it.

In Luang Prabang Inthado owns idyllic land situated by the Mekong river in the typical district of Ban Saylom. At this location Inthado has already begun constructing Mekong Estate. Built on an area of more than 3000m2 this splendid leisure residence is unique in Luang Prabang. It is deliberately intended for renting for a week, a month or longer to offer something different from the existing traditional accommodation (inn and hotels).
